- 01Glass is split but the picture is still there and touch works.
- 02Touch responds in some places and ignores others, usually along one edge.

Whether a display can be replaced depends on the model and the parts available at the time. If the frame is bent or the phone has been in water, that changes the picture — which is why it is looked at first.
